Welcome to Braincore of Kennesaw

"In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy it would be universally accepted and widely used."
– Frank H. Duffy, MD, professor and Pediatric Neurologist at Harvard Medical School, Journal Clinical Electroencephalography (EEG), Jan 2000 on Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback, sometimes called EEG biofeedback, is the simple process of quantifying electrical information from a person's brain, sharing it with that person, and teaching the person how to control the flow of that information in a way that makes the brain more vigorous and able to do a better job of managing body and mind.  There are over 300 articles published in peer reviewed journals highlighting its efficacy since 1960.

The goal of neurofeedback is to transform an unhealthy brainwave pattern into a healthy one.

BrainCore is the only neurofeedback system on the market that utilizes the advanced learning of this chair. This unique BrainCore therapy chair allows for tactile, visual, and auditory learning to occur simultaneously to further accelerate brain self regulation.

In almost every area of our lives, we are able to improve our performance when we get clear and immediate feedback about how we are doing.  Neuroscience has shown repeatedly that the brain is capable of enormous change, the brain is amazingly adaptable.  Advanced BrainCore technology using the NC-2000 provides instantaneous (real time) information to the brain about how it is functioning along with continuous hints or cues about how to make adjustments toward improved performance.

The body has a limited capacity to sense information coming from inside itself. However, if you monitor any biological process, amplify it, and feed it back to the brain, your brain can change that process and perform more optimally.  That is the mechanism behind EEG biofeedback.

Though the BrainCore technology is quite complex, the training activity is simple, painless, drugless and non-invasive.  Surface electrodes are placed on the scalp and EEG activity is transmitted to the NC-2000 amplifier.  It is important to note that BrainCore Therapy is completely non invasive. The sensors do not involve any input of electricity; they simply detect EEG activity.   Auditory, visual and tactile feedback are provided instantly, so that the patient sees, hears and feels representations of their brain in action. The patient is instructed to observe the auditory, tactile and visual feedback and allow the nervous system to reset itself based on that feedback.  As the nervous system reorganizes itself based on this instantaneous information, the patterns begin to normalize.  Over the course of 10 to 20 training sessions, neuroplastic modifications result in the permanent alleviation of the symptoms.
